Booking terms

Booking terms

These are the terms for hiring the Evergreen mobile golf simulator. By paying a deposit you're agreeing to them. We've kept them in plain English; if anything isn't clear, ask us before you book.

1. Who you're dealing with

Evergreen Golf, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC904980. Email [email protected].

2. How a booking works

  1. You send us your date, venue and the package you want, through the website form or by email.
  2. We confirm by email whether the date is free and that your venue should work.
  3. A £100 deposit secures the date. We'll send bank transfer details or a card payment link. The date isn't held until the deposit has arrived.
  4. The balance is paid on the day of the event, before we pack down.

3. Prices and what's included

The prices on the website are the prices you pay. Each package includes delivery within our coverage area, setup, one operator for the whole event, the simulator, clubs and balls, and pack-down. Extra hours on the day are £100 each, agreed with the operator at the time and added to the balance.

4. Cancelling or changing a booking

Because the booking is for a specific date, the 14-day cooling-off period that applies to some online purchases doesn't apply here. The refund terms above apply instead.

5. Your venue

You're responsible for providing a suitable space. We need:

Marquees and other covered outdoor spaces are fine if the ground is level and dry. For those, we make a weather call by noon on the day and will tell you straight away if we can't go ahead safely. If we cancel for weather, we refund everything you've paid.

If we arrive and the space isn't as described and we can't set up safely, we'll do what we can to find an alternative in the venue. If there isn't one, the deposit is kept and the balance isn't charged.

6. On the day

7. Damage

You're responsible for damage to our equipment caused by you or your guests beyond normal wear and tear, and we'll invoice the repair or replacement cost. We're responsible for damage our equipment or our operator causes to the venue.

8. Insurance and liability

We hold public liability insurance. We're not responsible for things outside our control, such as the venue's power failing, access being refused, or events beyond either of our control that stop the event going ahead. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.

9. Launch offer

10. Referral scheme ("Refer & earn £50")

11. Photos

We sometimes take photos at events for our own website and social media. Tell us at booking or on the day if you'd rather we didn't, and we won't.

12. The small print

These terms are governed by Scots law. If we need to change them, the terms you agreed to when you paid your deposit are the ones that apply to your booking.
